Brief : Design a Font, using MEDIA in today's society as your inspiration.
This designed font demonstrates the idea of 'media' being communicated via the use of graffiti and defacing an existing form. Throughout the use of a simple mechanical font I have created a different characteristic for each letter within the alphabet. These letters have been shaped into something more interesting then the already existing font - OCR A Extended. The existing font portrays a straight, formal and mechanical message, whilst characterising it with my own design has made this font completely opposite from its original purpose. This font is similar to the method of graffiti, involving making a wall or alley way something more interesting and characterised by the person's abilities.
